Making Dark Grass Blend with Custom Biomes
Checking Biome Compatibility
Dark Grass Resource Pack applies its deepened green texture to all standard grass blocks across vanilla biomes. If you're using custom biome mods or terrain generation packs, the dark grass will still render on any grass block, but the overall aesthetic may feel disconnected if those biomes use unusual color schemes.
Adjusting Your Setup
To ensure cohesive visuals:
1. Load Dark Grass after biome mods in your resource pack order. Most mod launchers let you drag packs to reorder them—place Dark Grass lower in the list so it takes priority.
2. Test in different biomes by traveling to jungles, deserts, and custom terrain. Dark grass works best in temperate and forest areas; it may look out of place in bright, tropical zones.
3. Layer additional packs if needed. If a biome mod includes its own grass recoloring, conflicts may occur. Disable one or the other to see which combination you prefer.
4. Check your world's grass color settings in the world options. Some packs override biome-specific grass tinting—Dark Grass respects vanilla tinting, so your results depend on both.
The pack's lightweight nature means you can quickly swap it on and off to compare looks without performance cost.
