How to Craft the Dark Enchanter

Gather the Inputs

The Dark Enchanter is the block you place to begin dark enchanting. It is produced through a shaped crafting recipe, so you arrange ingredients in a fixed pattern on a crafting grid rather than tossing them in loosely.

Before you start, confirm you have the Dark Conduit available, since the Dark Enchanter and Dark Conduit are the two placeable blocks in this mod and they are used together in progression. The Table Upgrade is the third registry item and is handled separately from the two blocks.

Craft and Place

1. Open a crafting table.

2. Lay out the ingredients for the Dark Enchanter in the shaped pattern the recipe requires.

3. Take the finished Dark Enchanter from the output slot.

4. Place the Dark Enchanter in the world where you want your enchanting setup to sit.

Because the recipe is shaped, mirroring or rotating the layout can break it. If the output slot stays empty, rearrange the ingredients until the pattern matches exactly. Once placed, the Dark Enchanter becomes the anchor for the rest of your dark enchanting work, and the Dark Conduit is placed alongside it to complete the setup. Keep spare materials on hand so you can rebuild the arrangement if you move your base.
