What the Red Print Does

The Red Print is a registry item used in the dankstorage:upgrade recipe type. Every tier upgrade in the mod relies on this recipe type, so the Red Print is part of the upgrade process from Dank 1 all the way to Dank 7.

Getting Started with Upgrades

1. Craft or obtain a Red Print.

2. Craft or obtain the upgrade item for your current step, such as 1 to 2 for a Dank 1.

3. Combine the storage item, the upgrade item, and the Red Print using the upgrade recipe.

4. The result is the next tier storage item.

Planning Your Upgrade Path

Because the chain runs Dank 1 through Dank 7, you will need a Red Print for each upgrade step you perform. Keep a stock of Red Prints on hand before you start upgrading so you are not interrupted mid-chain. The upgrade items are named for their step: 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 5, 5 to 6, and 6 to 7. Match the upgrade item to the tier you currently hold, then apply the recipe with the Red Print to advance one tier. Work through the chain in order rather than trying to jump ahead.
