Set Up Your First Underwater Breathing System

Gather Teranium Ore

Head to the ocean floor and locate Teranium deposits. These are most abundant in the Rocky Ocean biome and scattered throughout other deep biomes. Mine them with a stone pickaxe or better to collect raw Teranium ore.

Craft Teranium Batteries

Smelt your raw Teranium ore in a furnace to create Teranium ingots. Use these ingots to craft Teranium batteries at a crafting table. You'll need multiple batteries for extended underwater exploration.

Equip Your Diving Helmet

Craft the Teranium Diving Helmet using Teranium ingots and other materials at your crafting table. Once equipped, the helmet will automatically consume batteries from your inventory to extend your underwater oxygen supply. You'll see an on-screen battery tracker appear whenever you're carrying batteries and wearing the helmet.

Monitor Your Battery Level

Keep an eye on the battery display while diving. When your batteries run low, surface to craft or find more Teranium ore. Always carry spare batteries when exploring deep structures or distant ocean biomes to avoid drowning far from home.
