Upgrading Elemental Swords into Late-Game Blades

Base elemental swords are stepping stones. Each element has one or more upgraded forms that require additional essences and, in several cases, Mixed Essence from the Transmutation Furnace.

Element Upgrade Paths

Fire: Fire Sword → Combustion Sword → Meteor Sword
Wind: Wind Sword → Wind Impulse Sword → Wind Blast Sword → Wind Boom Sword
Thunder: Thunder Sword → Thunder Shock Sword → Thunderstorm Sword → Meteoric Thunderstorm Sword
Ender: Ender Sword → Ender Fire Sword, Ender Wind Sword, Ender Thunder Sword → Tri-Ender Sword
Light: Light Sword → Light Nether Sword
Dark: Dark Sword → Dark Nether Sword
Nature: Peaceful Nature Sword and Wild Nature Sword
Other: Steam Sword, Golem Sword, Time Sword, Atlantis Sword, Ender Portal Sword

Using Mixed Essence

Mixed Essence is the gate for the strongest blades. Transmute it in the Transmutation Furnace and reserve it for the final step of whichever line you are pushing. Do not spend it on intermediate swords.

Order of Operations

1. Pick one line and gather every essence its upgrades need.

2. Craft each tier in order — skipping a tier is not possible because each sword feeds the next recipe.

3. Only after finishing one line should you start a second, so your essence stock does not get split across too many recipes.
