How to Craft the Cyan Sword and Start the Sword Progression

Getting the First Sword

Start by crafting a Sword Handle. The Sword Handle is the base component shared by the sword line, so make several before you branch out.

Combine a Sword Handle with the materials for your first tier. The Cyan Sword is the entry point of the progression and the item the mod is named after. Once you hold the Cyan Sword, you can begin climbing toward the elemental swords.

Moving Up the Tiers

From the Cyan Sword, the next step is the basic elemental swords. Craft the Fire Sword, Water Sword, Earth Sword, Wind Sword, Thunder Sword, Ice Sword, Light Sword, and Dark Sword. Each of these consumes a Sword Handle plus its matching Essence.

The Essences you need are Fire Essence, Water Essence, Earth Essence, Wind Essence, Thunder Essence, Light Essence, and Dark Essence. Gather these before you start crafting so you are not stopping mid-progression.

Once you have the basic elemental swords, the higher-tier swords open up. These include the Ender Sword, the Beast Sword, the Golem Sword, the Meteor Sword, the Time Sword, and the Peaceful Nature Sword. Each higher sword builds on the lower ones, so keep every sword you craft — you will need them as ingredients later.

If a recipe does not appear in your crafting grid, check whether it belongs in the Transmutation Furnace instead. Some conversions happen there rather than at a crafting table.
