How to Craft the Cyan Sword and Start the Sword Line

Getting the Sword Handle

Every sword in the mod needs a Sword Handle first. Craft Sword Handles before anything else, since they are the shared component across the entire sword progression. Stockpile several so you are not stopping to craft one every time you unlock a new blade.

Building the Cyan Sword

With Sword Handles ready, craft the Cyan Sword. This is your entry point into the sword line and the base you will build on. Once you hold it, you can start hunting the Essence items that gate the elemental swords.

Where to Go Next

The Cyan Sword is not the end goal. It is the foundation. From here you branch into elemental swords that each require their own Essence: Fire Essence, Water Essence, Earth Essence, Wind Essence, Thunder Essence, Ice Sword, Light Essence, Dark Essence, Ender Essence, and the rarer Beast Essence, Mixed Essence, and Light Essence combinations. Collect Essence drops as you fight and explore, because each elemental sword consumes specific Essence in its recipe. Keep your Sword Handles stocked and your Essence organized in a chest near your crafting table so you can assemble new swords the moment you have the materials.
