Crafting Nether Swords: Dark Nether Sword and Light Nether Sword

Nether-Specific Blades

The Nether swords are Dark Nether Sword and Light Nether Sword. They sit apart from the standard Dark Sword and Light Sword lines and require Nether materials in addition to Essence. Treat them as a separate crafting goal rather than an upgrade path from the base Light and Dark swords.

What You Need

Both Nether swords use a Sword Handle as their base component. Dark Nether Sword consumes Dark Essence, and Light Nether Sword consumes Light Essence. Because Light Essence and Dark Essence are among the rarer Essence types, farm them deliberately before you commit to crafting. If you are short on one type, run the other through the Transmutation Furnace to balance your stock.

Crafting Order

Build the base Dark Sword and Light Sword first so you have working weapons while you gather Nether materials. Then craft Dark Nether Sword and Light Nether Sword once your Essence and Nether components are ready. Keep spare Sword Handles on hand so a successful Nether run turns straight into a finished sword. Store the Nether blades separately from your everyday swords so you do not lose them in a death pile.
