To find rare animals:

1. Explore new chunks — rare spawns are more common in unloaded terrain

2. Travel between biomes — visit warm, temperate, and cold regions to encounter all three rare types

3. Farm animals in place — breed livestock in different biomes to generate more spawn opportunities

4. Use spawn chunks — set up animal farms in different biome types to maximize encounters

Identify Rare Animals

When you spot an animal with unusual coloring or a glowing effect, you've likely found a rare variant. Rare animals look distinctly different from standard biome variants, so they stand out visually. Keep them safe or breed them to preserve the rare genetics in your world.
