Crafting the Great Helms and Christmas Great Helm

Great Helm

The Great Helm is a wearable head item in the Crusade Mod, produced by a crafting_shaped recipe. Open a crafting table and place the ingredients in the exact pattern the recipe shows. Shaped recipes are strict about slot positions, so if nothing appears in the output, rearrange the items rather than adding more.

Christmas Great Helm

The Christmas Great Helm is a separate registered item with its own shaped recipe. It is not an upgrade of the Great Helm — you craft it independently at the same crafting table. Gather its specific ingredients, then match the pattern. Keep both if you like; they occupy the helmet slot and you can swap them freely.

Build a full loadout

Combine a helm with a lance for a complete Crusade Mod kit:

• Great Helm or Christmas Great Helm for the head slot.
• Wooden Lance, Stone Lance, Iron Lance, Diamond Lance, or Netherite Lance in the main hand.
• Trebuchet placed nearby for siege support.

Every one of these comes from a shaped recipe, so a single crafting table covers the whole set. Craft the helm first so you are protected while gathering materials for the lance and Trebuchet recipes.
