How to Make Bronze Ingots

Smelt the Inputs

Bronze is the backbone of early Crossroads machinery, and you need it before most other recipes unlock. Combine Copper Dust with Tin in a furnace or blast furnace to produce Bronze Ingots. Copper Dust is obtained by processing raw copper through a mill or ore cleanser, and Tin comes from Deepslate Tin Ore or Block of Raw Tin broken down into usable form.

Scale Up Production

Once you have a few Bronze Ingots, craft a Block of Bronze for compact storage, and break it back down when you need ingots. Bronze Nuggets are useful for fine-grained recipes where a full ingot is wasteful. Feed your smelting line with a steady supply of Copper Dust and Tin so you are never waiting on a single furnace.

Put Bronze to Work

Bronze Ingots feed directly into the Detailed Crafter and the crafting table for gears, axles, and machine frames. Many Crossroads machines — Dynamo, Electrolyzer, Crystal Conduit — depend on bronze components somewhere in their chain. Keep a chest of Bronze Ingots, Bronze Nuggets, and a Block of Bronze near your main workshop so you can craft without backtracking. If you are short on Tin, process Deepslate Tin Ore through the ore cleanser first to stretch each block further.
