Alchemy Basics: Charts, Sigils, and Salts

Set Up the Station

Place an Alchemy Chart and a Color Chart on your wall for reference. These blocks display the mappings you need when combining alchemical ingredients. Keep an Alchemy Sigil and a Bioengineering Sigil in your inventory — they are the tools you use at the station.

Gather Reagents

Alchemical Salt, Aziotic Salt, and Alchemical Crystal are the core reagents. Crystallized Redstone, Crystallized Soul Shard, and Crystallized Soul Cluster feed higher-tier alchemy. Bedrock Dust and Damping Powder appear in recipes that need stabilization. Store each in its own slot in a Crystal Storage Vessel so you can pull them quickly.

Run a Recipe

Open the Alchemy Chart to see the combination you want, then apply the reagents at the station with the appropriate Sigil in hand. Crucible recipes (crossroads:crucible) handle molten or dissolved inputs and are the entry point for many salt and crystal products. If a reaction fails, verify you are using the correct Sigil and that every reagent matches the chart exactly; substituting one salt for another will not work.
