Crafting Bolts: Iron, Golden, Diamond and Netherite

The Four Metal Bolts

The mod adds four metal bolt items: Iron Bolt, Golden Bolt, Diamond Bolt, and Netherite Bolt. Each is produced through a crafting_shaped recipe. That means you arrange ingredients in a fixed pattern on a crafting table rather than combining them shapelessly.

Progression Logic

Start with Iron Bolt — iron is the most common of the four materials, so this is your entry-level ammunition. Golden Bolt comes next if you have gold available. Diamond Bolt is the mid-to-high tier, using diamonds. Netherite Bolt sits at the top and is the most expensive to produce.

Practical Steps

1. Gather the base metal for the bolt tier you want.

2. Open a crafting table.

3. Lay out the ingredients in the shaped pattern the recipe requires.

4. Collect the finished bolts from the output slot.

Because all four are crafting_shaped, the pattern is consistent across tiers — only the metal changes. Craft in batches: bolts are consumable ammunition, so a single craft is rarely enough for a fight. Stock Iron Bolt for general use and save Netherite Bolt for high-value targets. Load any bolt into a crossbow to fire it.
