Fruit tree saplings include Almond Sapling, Apple Sapling, Apricot Sapling, Avocado Sapling, Banana Sapling, Cashew Sapling, Cherry Sapling, Cinnamon Sapling, Coconut Sapling, Date Sapling, Dragon Fruit Sapling, Fig Sapling, Grapefruit Sapling, Kumquat Sapling. Place a sapling on dirt or grass with enough vertical space and light. It grows into the matching tree and produces the corresponding Crop block: Almond Crop, Apple Crop, Apricot Crop, Avocado Crop, Banana Crop, Cashew Crop, Cherry Crop, Coconut Crop, Date Crop, Dragonfruit Crop, Fig Crop, Grapefruit Crop, Kumquat Crop.

Harvesting Fruit

Break the mature Crop block to collect the fruit: Almond, Apple, Apricot, Avocado, Banana, Cashew, Cherry, Coconut, Date, Dragon Fruit, Fig, Grapefruit, Kumquat. Replant saplings nearby to expand your orchard. Cinnamon is different: chop Cinnamon Log and Cinnamon Wood from the tree, and harvest Cinnamon Leaves for the leaf item.

Using Your Harvest

Fruit feeds directly into recipes such as Apple Juice, Apple Pie, Apricot Jam, Avocado Toast, Banana Nut Bread, Banana Smoothie, and Candied Kumquats. Nuts like Almond and Cashew go into Almond Brittle, Candied Nuts, and Cashew Chicken. Keep a chest of each fruit near your kitchen so you can craft without running back to the orchard.
