Building a Full Kitchen Workflow

Layout

Set up four stations close together: a crafting table, a furnace, a smoker, and the All Purpose Food Press. Add a campfire nearby for campfire cooking. Place a chest of raw crops and fruits beside the press, and a chest of finished meals beside the crafting table.

Supply Chain

Farm crops like Bell Pepper, Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Celery, and Artichoke. Grow trees for Almond, Apple, Apricot, Avocado, Banana, Cashew, Cherry, Coconut, Date, Dragon Fruit, Fig, Grapefruit, and Kumquat. Plant Hops Crop and Barley for Beer. Raise animals or trade for Bacon and other meats.

Daily Routine

Harvest ripe Crop blocks each morning and replant seeds. Move produce to the kitchen chest. Process fruit into Apricot Jam, Blackberry Jam, Blueberry Jam, and Apple Juice. Bake pies and breads. Smoke or smelt meats. Combine everything into finished dishes such as Beef Stew, Burrito, Cabbage Roll, and Cashew Chicken.

Scaling

As demand grows, expand plots and add more presses. Keep a buffer of Butter, Caramel, and Bread so any recipe is one step away. With a stocked kitchen, you can leave for long expeditions and return to a full pantry.
