How to Craft a Wooden Crook

Gather the Materials

A Wooden Crook is the entry point for the Crooked Crooks Mod. You need only basic early-game resources. Collect wooden planks by crafting them from any log type in your inventory crafting grid, and gather sticks by placing two planks vertically in the crafting grid.

Craft the Crook

The Wooden Crook is made with a shaped crafting recipe. Place your planks and sticks in the crafting grid in the pattern the recipe requires. Once the output slot shows the Wooden Crook, drag it into your inventory.

Use It

Hold the Wooden Crook and use it on leaves or foliage blocks. The crook is designed to break leaves and similar blocks efficiently, letting you clear trees and gather drops without needing a full axe or shears. Because it is wooden, it has low durability, so keep spare planks and sticks on hand to craft replacements. When the Wooden Crook breaks, upgrade to a Stone Crook using cobblestone in place of planks in the same shaped recipe pattern.
