How to Craft a Stone Crook

A Stone Crook requires cobblestone, which you get by mining stone with any pickaxe. Gather enough cobblestone for the recipe plus a few extra in case you want a spare. You also need sticks, crafted from two planks placed vertically in the crafting grid.

Craft the Stone Crook

The Stone Crook uses a shaped crafting recipe. Arrange cobblestone and sticks in the crafting grid following the recipe pattern. The output slot will show the Stone Crook; move it to your inventory.

When to Use It

The Stone Crook is a durability upgrade over the Wooden Crook. Use it the same way: hold it and break leaves or foliage. It lasts longer before breaking, making it better for clearing larger areas of trees or bushes. If you run out of cobblestone, mine more stone with your pickaxe. When the Stone Crook wears out, you can craft an Iron Crook by substituting iron ingots for cobblestone in the same shaped recipe, provided you have smelted iron ore in a furnace with fuel.
