A Bone Crook uses bones instead of wood, stone, or iron. Get bones by defeating skeletons, which drop bones when killed. Skeletons spawn in dark areas and at night, so bring a sword and torch. You also need sticks, crafted from two planks placed vertically in the crafting grid.

Craft the Bone Crook

The Bone Crook is made with a shaped crafting recipe. Arrange bones and sticks in the crafting grid following the recipe pattern. The output slot will show the Bone Crook; move it into your inventory.

Using the Bone Crook

Hold the Bone Crook and use it on leaves and foliage blocks the same way as the other crooks. It breaks leaves efficiently and gathers their drops. Durability sits between the Stone Crook and Iron Crook, so it is a solid mid-tier option if you have surplus bones from skeleton farming. When it breaks, craft a replacement with more bones and sticks, or upgrade to an Iron Crook using smelted iron ingots in the same shaped recipe pattern.
