Troubleshoot Missing or Incorrect Creeper Models

Common Issues

If Creepers appear with the wrong texture or don't load the movie design at all, several factors may be preventing the resource pack from working properly.

Diagnostic Checklist

1. Verify OptiFine is active: Open Video Settings and check that OptiFine options appear. If not, OptiFine isn't loaded.

2. Check resource pack order: In Resource Packs, ensure the movie Creeper pack is above the default pack in the active list.

3. Confirm pack compatibility: Verify the pack version matches your Minecraft version.

4. Clear cache: Delete the shader cache by going to Video Settings → Shaders → Off, then restart Minecraft.

5. Reload the world: Exit to the main menu and re-enter your world to force texture reload.

Advanced Troubleshooting

If issues persist, try removing other resource packs temporarily to check for conflicts. Some packs that modify mob models may override the movie Creeper design. Test with only the movie pack and OptiFine active to isolate the problem.
