Adjust Shader Intensity for Better Combat Visibility
Reduce Shadow Darkness During PvP
If shadows are making it hard to spot opponents, you can tone down the shader's darkness without disabling it entirely.
Open your shader options menu (usually accessed via the pause menu or a dedicated shader settings button). Look for shadow intensity, darkness level, or ambient occlusion sliders. Lower these values gradually until you can clearly see player silhouettes and name tags in shadowed areas. A common approach is to reduce shadow strength by 20–30% while keeping the atmospheric effect.
Brighten Specific Areas
If certain biomes or indoor spaces feel too dark for combat, check for exposure or brightness controls in the shader settings. Increase these slightly to lift overall scene brightness without washing out the moody aesthetic.
Test your changes in a controlled environment—build a small arena with varied lighting and practice spotting mobs or teammates. This helps you find the sweet spot between CREEP's cinematic look and practical visibility for fights.
