Customizing Cable and Block Appearance
Understanding the Texture Changes
This resource pack replaces the visual appearance of Refined Storage components with a unified mechanical theme. All cables, connectors, and storage blocks now use copper and brass metallics instead of the default gray palette.
What Gets Restyled
- Storage Blocks and their variants display as heavy brass machinery
- Cables and connectors adopt copper tones with dark mechanical details
- Terminals and interfaces receive matching brass casings
- Compatibility blocks from CableTiers and ExtraStorage are included
Adjusting Your Setup
While the resource pack itself doesn't offer in-game customization, you can control the visual impact through placement:
1. Expose cables deliberately to showcase the new metallic textures.
2. Group storage blocks together to create the impression of a unified machine.
3. Use dark blocks nearby (blackstone, dark oak wood) to make the brass tones stand out.
4. Combine with copper blocks from vanilla Minecraft to enhance the steampunk cohesion.
The pack's textures are fixed, but your creative placement determines how prominently the mechanical aesthetic appears in your base.
