How to Start With Create

The first hour with Create is about getting Andesite Alloy and your first rotating power source, then branching into crushing and mixing.

First Steps

Mine Andesite and Zinc. Combine them to make Andesite Alloy, the base material for most early Create blocks. Craft Andesite Alloy into Andesite Funnels, Andesite Tunnels, Andesite Bars, Andesite Scaffolding, Andesite Ladders, Andesite Doors, and the Andesite Table Cover. These are your starter logistics and building blocks.

First Power

Build a power source and connect it to a shaft with Cogwheels. Use a large Cogwheel driving a small one to speed up the output, or the reverse to slow it down. Add a Clutch so you can cut power with redstone, and an Analog Lever for variable control.

First Machines

Set up a Basin for mixing and Crushing Wheels for crushing. Feed them with Andesite Funnels and move output with Chutes. A Chain Conveyor moves items along a line without belts. Once these run, you have the core loop: power, process, move, store. From there, expand into Brass production and Precision Mechanisms for advanced machines.
