How to Make Brass in Create

Smelt the Ingredients

Brass requires copper and zinc. Smelt copper ore and zinc ore into Copper Nugget and Zinc Nugget forms as needed, or work from Copper Ingot and Zinc Ingot. You will also need a source of heat and a mixing setup.

Mix in a Basin

Place a Basin and a Mechanical Mixer above it, powered by a Cogwheel network. Drop copper and zinc into the Basin. The mixer combines them into Brass Ingot. If you have a Blaze Burner, use it beneath the Basin to supply the heat the recipe needs.

Use Your Brass

Brass unlocks Brass Funnel, Brass Tunnel, Brass Bars, Brass Door, Brass Ladder, Brass Scaffolding, Brass Table Cover, and Block of Brass. Brass Funnels filter and route items more precisely than Andesite Funnel, and Brass Tunnels split item flow across belts. Craft a Brass Hand for interaction tools and a Clipboard to track recipes. Brass is also used in higher-tier components, so keep a steady supply by automating copper and zinc input into your Basin with Chain Conveyor feeds.
