Building a Contraption with Cart Assembler and Clockwork Bearing
Cart Assembler
Place a Cart Assembler on a rail. Right-click it to open its inventory. Build your contraption on top of the assembler using blocks like Andesite Scaffolding, Brass Scaffolding, or any solid block. When you supply rotation to the assembler, it turns your build into a moving contraption that travels along the rail.
Clockwork Bearing
A Clockwork Bearing rotates its attached contraption. Place it on a block, then build your structure on its face. Supply rotation with a Cogwheel or shaft. The bearing rotates the entire attached build. Use Contraption Controls to start and stop the bearing's rotation, or an Analog Lever for variable speed.
Combining Both
Place a Cart Assembler on a rail and a Clockwork Bearing on the contraption itself. The assembler moves the build along the rail while the bearing rotates part of it. This lets you create drills, saws, or arms that move and spin at the same time. Use a Clutch to disengage the bearing when needed.
Controls
Contraption Controls let you toggle movement. Place them on the contraption and right-click to start or stop. An Analog Lever gives proportional control: turn it partway for slow rotation, fully for fast. Adjustable Chain Gearshift changes direction and speed ratio between input and output.
