Understanding Animated States

The Create Energistics Model pack includes 630 custom textures with smooth animations. These aren't just static visuals—many blocks show different states depending on whether they're powered and active.

Viewing Active Animations

Place a Transition Plane and power it on. You'll see its texture shift and animate in real time, showing mechanical gears spinning and brass components glowing. Toggle the power on and off to watch the transition effect. This visual feedback helps you quickly identify which parts of your network are actively processing items.

Cable Animation Tips

Covered Dense Cables display flowing animations when data passes through them. The more active your network, the more visible these mechanical transitions become. This makes troubleshooting easier—if cables aren't animating, your network may have a bottleneck or power issue.

Maximizing Visual Impact

Arrange your cables in visible patterns to showcase the animations. The moving clockwork mechanisms are designed to be watched, so consider building your storage room with viewing windows or open layouts rather than hiding everything behind walls.
