Build a Production Line for Processed Materials
Plan Your Layout
Sketch a linear or loop-based factory design on paper first. Decide where raw materials enter, where processing happens, and where finished goods exit. Leave room for expansion.
Set Up Input and Output
Create input hoppers or chutes at one end to feed raw materials. Use conveyor belts or item pipes to move items through your line. Place output chests or storage at the end.
Add Processing Stations
Insert crushing mills, smelters, mixers, or other Create machines between input and output. Each machine needs a rotating shaft connected to your power source. Adjust gear ratios so each station processes at the right speed.
Connect Power
Run a main shaft down the center or along the side of your line. Branch off to each machine using gearboxes and smaller shafts. Test that all machines spin when you activate your power source.
Optimize Flow
Watch items move through your line. If they back up, increase belt speed or add more processing stations. If machines sit idle, slow the input. Fine-tune until materials flow smoothly from start to finish.
