Stop a Player and Talk to Them Privately

Freeze the Player

When you need to address a rule violation, freeze the player to prevent them from moving or breaking blocks.

Steps:

1. Type /freeze <player> to stop them in place

2. The player cannot move, jump, or interact with blocks

3. They will see a message indicating they are frozen

Open Private Chat

Once frozen, open a private conversation to discuss the issue calmly:

1. Type /freezerchat to open a private chat window

2. Only you and the frozen player can see these messages

3. Explain the rule violation and listen to their response

4. Keep the conversation focused on the specific behavior

Release the Player

After resolving the issue:

1. Type /freeze <player> again to unfreeze them

2. Type /freezerchat again to close the private chat

3. The player can now move and interact normally

This approach keeps disruptions minimal and lets you handle problems without the entire server watching.
