Create a Pastel Wood Cottage Exterior
Gather and Process Wood
Start by collecting logs from any tree. Take them to a Woodwork Bench and place it in your build area. Use the bench to convert regular logs into washed pastel wood variants. The bench will show you available pastel colors—choose shades that complement your cottage aesthetic, such as cream, soft blue, or pale green.
Build Your Structure
Use the pastel wood planks as your primary wall material. Craft matching stairs and slabs from the Woodwork Bench to add depth and detail to your roofline and foundation. Create fences and gates in the same pastel color for a cohesive look.
Add Finishing Details
Combine your pastel wood with weathered iron blocks for pillars and trim—the weathered stages give an aged, cottage-appropriate appearance. Use pastel wood trapdoors on windows or as decorative shutters. Layer in colored decorative glass panes (crafted at the Glazier Crafts Bench) to create charming window patterns that let light through while maintaining your color scheme.
