Raw Tortilla First

Raw Tortilla is the intermediate step for the mod's Mexican-style foods. Produce it from Maize through the appropriate processing recipe, then cook the Raw Tortilla in a furnace, smoker, or campfire to obtain a finished Tortilla. Keep a steady supply of Maize flowing into this step, because both Taco and Nachos depend on tortilla output.

Assembling a Taco

A Taco is crafted using a Tortilla plus filling ingredients. Once you have cooked tortillas on hand, combine them with the required fillings in a crafting recipe to produce Taco items. These are a portable meal, so make several at once and carry them for exploration.

Building Nachos

Nachos is both a food item and a placeable block. Craft it from Tortilla-based components, then either eat it directly or place it in the world as a block. Placing Nachos lets you set out a shared snack for a build or gathering, similar to how Popcorn Bucket works as a placed block.

Keeping the Chain Running

The full chain runs Maize to Raw Tortilla to Tortilla to Taco or Nachos. Cook tortillas in bulk before assembling the final items, and reserve part of each harvest for the tortilla pipeline rather than using all your corn for soup or popcorn.
