Using CoralReef Mod Blocks as a Full Color Palette

Six Colors Plus Two Reef Blocks

CoralReef Mod gives builders eight blocks. Six are single colors: Brown Coral, Cyan Coral, Lime Coral, Magenta Coral, Orange Coral, and Pink Coral. The other two, Hard Coral Reef and Soft Coral Reef, are the reef blocks. Together they form a ready-made palette you can use anywhere you would otherwise mix and match unrelated blocks.

Building a Gradient

Line the six colored corals up in the order you want the gradient to run. Because each color is its own block, you can place them side by side with no gaps and get a clean transition from Brown Coral through to Pink Coral. Rearrange the order to change the direction of the fade.

Framing with the Reef Blocks

Use Hard Coral Reef and Soft Coral Reef as the border around your color work. Hard Coral Reef suits edges and corners where you want a heavier line. Soft Coral Reef works as a softer inner frame or as a filler between color bands.

A simple pattern is a Hard Coral Reef border, a row of the six colored corals inside it, and Soft Coral Reef filling any leftover space. Every block places directly, so you can test the arrangement in the world and swap blocks until the palette looks right.
