Each Sawmill block matches a wood type: Oak Sawmill, Spruce Sawmill, Birch Sawmill, Jungle Sawmill, Acacia Sawmill, Dark Oak Sawmill, Mangrove Sawmill, Cherry Sawmill, Bamboo Sawmill, Bamboo Mosaic Sawmill, Crimson Sawmill, Warped Sawmill, and the extended set including Bop Maple Woodcutter, Dead Sawmill, Empyreal Sawmill, Fir Sawmill, Hellbark Sawmill, Jacaranda Sawmill, Magic Sawmill, Mahogany Sawmill, Palm Sawmill, Pine Sawmill, Redwood Sawmill, Umbran Sawmill, and Willow Sawmill. Choose the one that matches the logs you have on hand.

Craft and Place

Sawmills are made with a shaped crafting recipe. Gather planks and logs of your chosen wood type, arrange them in the crafting grid, and collect the matching Sawmill block. Once crafted, place the Sawmill on the ground like any other block. It becomes a workstation you can interact with. If you want a different wood variant later, craft that variant separately — each Sawmill is its own block and does not convert into another type. Keep one Sawmill per wood type near your storage if you process many species.
