There are 25 Sawmill blocks, one per wood type: Acacia Sawmill, Bamboo Mosaic Sawmill, Bamboo Sawmill, Birch Sawmill, Bop Maple Woodcutter, Cherry Sawmill, Crimson Sawmill, Dark Oak Sawmill, Dead Sawmill, Empyreal Sawmill, Fir Sawmill, Hellbark Sawmill, Jacaranda Sawmill, Jungle Sawmill, Magic Sawmill, Mahogany Sawmill, Mangrove Sawmill, Oak Sawmill, Palm Sawmill, Pine Sawmill, Redwood Sawmill, Spruce Sawmill, Umbran Sawmill, Warped Sawmill, and Willow Sawmill.

Match Logs to Sawmill

Before crafting, decide which wood you process most. If you build with oak, craft an Oak Sawmill. For nether builds, use Crimson Sawmill or Warped Sawmill. For bamboo, choose Bamboo Sawmill or Bamboo Mosaic Sawmill depending on whether you work with bamboo or bamboo mosaic. For modded or unusual woods, use the matching named block — Fir Sawmill, Pine Sawmill, Redwood Sawmill, Palm Sawmill, Willow Sawmill, Jacaranda Sawmill, Mahogany Sawmill, Magic Sawmill, Umbran Sawmill, Hellbark Sawmill, Dead Sawmill, Empyreal Sawmill, or Bop Maple Woodcutter. Crafting the wrong variant leaves you with a Sawmill that does not match your log supply. Build a small row of the variants you actually use so processing stays fast.
