Recycling Steel and Netherite Disks

Steel Disk

Place a Steel Disk into the Recycler to process it. The disk is consumed and its output is produced. Steel Disk is one of the three disk types the Recycler accepts, alongside Diamond Disk and Netherite Disk.

Netherite Disk

Netherite Disk works the same way. Insert it into the Recycler and it is broken down. Because Netherite Disk represents the highest tier of the three disks, decide carefully whether to recycle it or keep it for direct use. Once processed, the disk cannot be recovered.

Managing All Three Disk Types

The Recycler handles Diamond Disk, Steel Disk, and Netherite Disk. Keep them sorted in separate chests or slots so you do not accidentally feed a Netherite Disk when you meant to process a Steel Disk. Process one type at a time and pull the output before inserting the next disk.

Planning Your Stock

Before recycling, count how many of each disk you have. Recycle the surplus and keep at least one of each type if you still need it for crafting. The Recycler only gives back what the recipe defines, so the decision to recycle is always a trade of the disk for its output.
