How to Craft a Recycler

Getting the Block

The Recycler is the only block in the mod and the center of every recycling loop. You craft it with a shaped recipe. Gather the ingredients first, then place them in the crafting grid in the pattern the recipe shows.

First Steps After Crafting

Place the Recycler down like any other block. Right-click it to open its interface. The slot accepts the disks you want to break down: Diamond Disk, Steel Disk, and Netherite Disk. Feed a disk into the Recycler and it processes into the corresponding output. Diamond Disk yields Diamond Shard. Steel Disk and Netherite Disk each process through the same block.

Keep a stack of disks ready before you start, because each disk is consumed when recycled. If you only have one disk, craft or obtain more first so you are not left with an empty machine.

Why You Want It

The Recycler turns finished disks back into usable materials. Diamond Shard is the key output from Diamond Disk, and shards feed back into disk crafting. This lets you cycle materials instead of losing them. Set the Recycler near your storage so you can pull disks out and push shards back without walking far.
