Building a Disk Recycling Loop with the Recycler

Set Up the Station

Place one Recycler as the center of your station. Put a chest on the input side holding Diamond Disk, Steel Disk, and Netherite Disk, and a second chest on the output side for Diamond Shard and other outputs. Keep the two chests separate so disks and outputs never mix.

Run the Cycle

Pull a disk from the input chest, insert it into the Recycler, and take the output. Move the output to the output chest. Repeat for each disk type. Because each disk is consumed, refill the input chest by crafting new disks whenever it runs low.

Close the Loop with Shards

Diamond Shard is the output that feeds back into crafting. Take shards from the output chest and use them in the crafting grid to make more disks. This is the loop: craft disks, recycle some into shards, use shards to craft more disks. Steel Disk and Netherite Disk also pass through the Recycler, so route their outputs to the same output chest.

Keep It Stocked

Check the input chest before every session. If Diamond Disk, Steel Disk, or Netherite Disk is missing, craft replacements first. A stocked input chest and an empty output chest mean the station is ready to run without interruption.
