Pillars from Concrete, Sandstone, and Quartz

Concrete

All sixteen concrete colors are supported: Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow Concrete. Each converts into its matching Pillar Concrete through a stonecutter. Use these for clean, saturated columns in modern builds.

Sandstone

Sandstone, Cut Sandstone, Chiseled Sandstone, Red Sandstone, Cut Red Sandstone, and Chiseled Red Sandstone each have a Pillar version. Pillar Cut Sandstone and Pillar Chiseled Sandstone give you layered and patterned columns for desert builds.

Quartz

Chiseled Quartz Block converts into Pillar Chiseled Quartz Block. Use it for bright, high-contrast columns in Nether or modern interiors.

Color Matching

Because every concrete color has a Pillar version, you can build a full rainbow of columns or match a Pillar to any dyed accent in a room. Keep one stonecutter near your dye setup so you can convert each color as you produce it.

Placement

Concrete Pillars look best in vertical runs of three or more blocks. Alternate two colors in a single column to create a striped effect. For sandstone, stack Pillar Cut Sandstone under Pillar Chiseled Sandstone to suggest a carved capital on top of a plain shaft.
