Making Pillars from Stone, Deepslate, and Blackstone

Stone Family

Cobblestone, Mossy Cobblestone, Stone Bricks, Mossy Stone Bricks, Chiseled Stone Bricks, Cracked Stone Bricks, Bricks, Andesite, Polished Andesite, Diorite, Polished Diorite, Granite, and Polished Granite all convert through the stonecutter into their Pillar counterparts. Use these for castle walls, dungeon corridors, and masonry columns.

Deepslate Family

Deepslate, Cobbled Deepslate, Polished Deepslate, Deepslate Bricks, Cracked Deepslate Bricks, Deepslate Tiles, Cracked Deepslate Tiles, and Chiseled Deepslate each have a Pillar version. Deepslate Pillars suit dark, industrial builds and underground bases.

Blackstone and Basalt

Blackstone, Polished Blackstone, Chiseled Polished Blackstone, Polished Blackstone Bricks, Cracked Polished Blackstone Bricks, Gilded Blackstone, Basalt, and Polished Basalt all convert. Gilded Blackstone Pillars are useful where you want a gold-flecked accent column in Nether builds.

Tuff and Calcite

Tuff, Chiseled Tuff, Chiseled Tuff Bricks, Polished Tuff, and Calcite are also supported. These give you lighter grey and off-white options that pair well with Deepslate for contrast.

Workflow

Set up one stonecutter per material family near your build so you are not swapping inputs constantly. Convert a full stack at a time, then place Pillars in vertical runs. Rotating a Pillar block changes which face shows the pillar texture, so test placement before committing to a long column.
