How to Craft Any Pillar Block with a Stonecutter

The Only Recipe Type You Need

Every block in this mod is produced through stonecutting. There are no crafting table recipes. Place a stonecutter, open it, and put the source block in the input slot. The output list will show the matching Pillar variant.

Step by Step

1. Craft or obtain a stonecutter.

2. Gather the vanilla block you want to convert — for example Cobblestone, Oak Planks, Deepslate, or Nether Bricks.

3. Right-click the stonecutter to open its interface.

4. Put the vanilla block in the left input slot.

5. Select the corresponding Pillar entry from the output list on the right.

6. Take the result. One input block yields one Pillar block unless the stonecutter shows otherwise.

Matching Inputs to Outputs

The Pillar name mirrors the vanilla block name. Cobblestone becomes Pillar Cobblestone, Oak Planks become Pillar Oak Planks, Deepslate becomes Pillar Deepslate, and so on. Variants like Polished Andesite, Chiseled Stone Bricks, Cracked Deepslate Bricks, and Cut Copper each have their own Pillar counterpart and are made from their own vanilla block. You do not combine blocks — one vanilla block in, one Pillar block out.

Practical Notes

Because every conversion runs through the stonecutter, you can batch-process a full stack quickly by holding the output and shift-clicking. Keep a stonecutter near your build site so you can convert on demand instead of hauling finished Pillars back and forth.
