How to Use the Destruction Wand Core

What the Core Does

The Destruction Wand Core is the upgrade component that turns a wand into a breaking tool. Install it into a wand to make that wand remove blocks in the same pattern it would normally place them. Instead of adding blocks along your aim direction, the wand now clears them.

Breaking Blocks in Patterns

Equip the wand with the Destruction Wand Core installed and aim at the block you want to start from. Activate the wand. It breaks the targeted block and continues through the surrounding blocks according to the current mode, so a line mode clears a row and an area mode clears a face. This is the fast way to strip a tunnel, flatten ground, or remove a wall you built by mistake.

Change the mode before you activate if you want a different shape; the core follows whatever mode the wand is set to. Keep an eye on durability, since every block broken consumes wand use. The Destruction Wand Core pairs with any wand tier, so a Diamond Wand or Infinity Wand clears far more blocks per activation than a Stone Wand. Carry replacement blocks only if you plan to switch the same wand back to building afterward.
