How to Change Construction Wand Mode

Opening the Mode Options

Every wand in the set — Stone Wand, Iron Wand, Diamond Wand, and Infinity Wand — supports multiple placement modes. With the wand in your hand, open its mode selection. The available modes control the shape the wand produces when you place or break blocks.

Choosing the Right Mode

Line mode extends placements in a single straight direction from the block you target, which is ideal for walls and paths. Area or fill mode spreads placements across a flat face, which is ideal for floors and ceilings. Copy or face mode repeats the block face you are aiming at, matching an existing pattern.

Pick the mode that matches the job, then place a block against a valid surface to trigger it. If the result is not what you wanted, switch modes and try again — nothing is consumed beyond the blocks you place. The mode you select also governs how the Destruction Wand Core behaves, so set the mode before breaking if you want a specific cleared shape. Higher wand tiers simply allow longer lines and larger areas within the same mode.
