How to Craft Andesite Bricks, Tiles, Pillars and Gates

Build the base blocks first

Start from plain Andesite. Craft Andesite Bricks in a crafting table, then use those bricks as the input for the rest of the family. Andesite Tiles are a separate decorative variant, so craft them from Andesite Bricks as well rather than from raw Andesite.

Once you have Andesite Bricks and Andesite Tiles, branch into the shape variants:

• Andesite Brick Slab, Andesite Brick Stairs, Andesite Brick Wall from Andesite Bricks.
• Andesite Tile Slab, Andesite Tile Stairs, Andesite Tile Wall from Andesite Tiles.
• Andesite Brick Gate and Andesite Tile Gate as fence-like gate pieces.
• Andesite Gate as the plain Andesite gate.
• Andesite Pillar and Andesite Corner Pillar for vertical and corner detailing.

Use stonecutting for the shapes

The mod registers stonecutting recipes, so put Andesite, Andesite Bricks or Andesite Tiles into a stonecutter and pick the slab, stair, wall, gate or pillar output directly. This is faster than crafting each shape by hand and gives exact counts.

For a wall, run a row of Andesite Bricks with Andesite Brick Slab capping the top, then place Andesite Pillar every few blocks and Andesite Corner Pillar at turns. Swap in Andesite Tiles for a smoother panel look, and use Andesite Brick Gate or Andesite Tile Gate where you want an opening that still reads as a solid wall.
