Building with Basalt Bricks and Basalt Tiles

Base Blocks

Basalt Bricks and Basalt Tiles are the two core building blocks in the Basalt family. Craft Basalt Bricks first, then use them to produce Basalt Brick Slab, Basalt Brick Stairs, Basalt Brick Wall, and Basalt Brick Gate. Separately, craft Basalt Tiles and derive Basalt Tile Slab, Basalt Tile Stairs, Basalt Tile Wall, and Basalt Tile Gate.

Plain Basalt Variants

If you want the raw basalt look rather than the brick or tile pattern, craft Basalt Slab, Basalt Stairs, and Basalt Wall directly. These match the plain Basalt block and let you build full stair-and-slab runs without switching to a patterned texture.

Pillars and Gates

For vertical structure, craft Basalt Pillar and Basalt Corner Pillar. The plain Basalt Gate gives you a fence-like barrier in the basalt palette. Combine Basalt Bricks on the floor, Basalt Tiles on walls, and Basalt Pillars at corners to get a coherent dark stone build. All variants share the same base material, so a single Basalt stock feeds the entire set through crafting or a stonecutter.
