Building a Complete Pokédex with the Expanded Collection

Understanding the Added Species

This data pack significantly expands the available Pokémon roster beyond base Cobblemon. Hundreds of new species are distributed across different biomes and spawn conditions. Check your Pokédex regularly to identify which creatures you're still missing—it will show which species exist in your world.

Systematic Collection Strategy

Explore each biome methodically and document which Pokémon appear there. Grasslands, forests, water areas, and caves each host different species. Travel at various times and weather conditions since spawn pools change. Some Pokémon may only appear during rain, snow, or specific seasons.

Focus on one biome at a time rather than random exploration. Catch duplicates to build a diverse team and increase your odds of encountering rarer species. Use Pokémon with moves like Sweet Scent or Synchronize to influence wild encounters. Trading with other players can fill gaps faster if certain species prove elusive in your world.
