Compact Machines Mod Recipe and Item Progression

Registry Items

The mod registers five items and blocks: Atom Enlarging Module, Atom Shrinking Module, Compact Machine Wall, Personal Shrinking Device, and Solid Compact Machine Wall. Two are blocks: Compact Machine Wall and Solid Compact Machine Wall. The other three are items.

Recipe Type

All crafting in this mod uses the crafting_shaped recipe type. That means recipes are arranged in a shaped grid pattern. You place ingredients in a specific layout on the crafting grid rather than tossing them in any order.

Progression

1. Craft the Personal Shrinking Device. This is your first tool and the key to entering compact machines.

2. Craft Compact Machine Wall blocks to build the boundary of a room.

3. Craft Solid Compact Machine Wall blocks for sealed sections of that room.

4. Craft the Atom Shrinking Module when you need to shrink targets other than yourself.

5. Craft the Atom Enlarging Module when you need to enlarge targets.

Using the Progression

With the Personal Shrinking Device, shrink yourself and walk into Compact Machine Wall to enter a room. Use Compact Machine Wall for entry points and Solid Compact Machine Wall for sealed surfaces. Use the Atom Shrinking Module and Atom Enlarging Module on targets that are not you. Each item has its own crafting_shaped recipe, so craft them one at a time as you need them.
