Building a Compact Machine Room with Compact Machine Wall

Choose Your Wall Type

Two wall blocks exist: Compact Machine Wall and Solid Compact Machine Wall. Compact Machine Wall is the boundary you pass through when shrunk. Solid Compact Machine Wall is the sealed variant. Use Compact Machine Wall where you need an entrance and Solid Compact Machine Wall for surfaces that should not be passable.

Build the Room

1. Place Compact Machine Wall blocks to form the floor, ceiling, and sides of your room.

2. Replace any wall section you want sealed with Solid Compact Machine Wall.

3. Leave at least one Compact Machine Wall section as your entry point.

Enter and Exit

Hold the Personal Shrinking Device and shrink yourself. Walk into a Compact Machine Wall block to enter the room. To leave, shrink again if needed and walk back through the Compact Machine Wall. Solid Compact Machine Wall will not let you through, so always keep one Compact Machine Wall block accessible.

Room Design Tips

Keep the interior small enough that you can reach the entry wall while shrunk. Do not fully surround the room with Solid Compact Machine Wall, or you will have no way in or out. Mix the two wall types: Compact Machine Wall for doorways, Solid Compact Machine Wall for the rest of the shell.
