How to Craft and Use a Sleeping Bag

Crafting

A Sleeping Bag is crafted from a colored Sleeping Bag cloth. Choose from Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, or Yellow Sleeping Bag. The color you craft is the color you place.

Placement and Sleeping

Place the Sleeping Bag on the ground like a carpet. It occupies a single block space and does not need two anchor points, unlike a hammock. Right-click it to lie down.

Sleeping in a Sleeping Bag at night or during a thunderstorm skips to morning. It does not set your spawn point the way a bed does, so treat it as a portable rest stop rather than a permanent base bed. This makes it useful for mining trips, exploration, and temporary camps where you do not want to relocate your respawn.

Picking It Up

Break the Sleeping Bag to retrieve it as an item. Because it is a single block, you can carry several colors and swap them for decoration. Place one next to a campfire or inside a small shelter for a compact sleeping spot that fits anywhere a full bed would not.
