Picking Your Colour

Sleeping Bags come in all 16 dye colours, from Black Sleeping Bag through Yellow Sleeping Bag. Each one is crafted from its matching Sleeping Bag cloth entry — the same colour name appears on both the cloth and the bag, so Blue Sleeping Bag pairs with Blue Hammock Cloth-style naming.

The Recipe Steps

1. Gather the materials for your chosen colour's shapeless recipe.

2. Craft the Sleeping Bag block for that colour.

3. Place it on the ground where you want to sleep.

Sleeping Bags are placed flat, unlike hammocks which hang. Interact with the placed bag to lie down and pass the night. It does not change your respawn point, so it is safe to use while travelling — you wake up where you slept rather than being sent back to your bed.

Swapping Between Colours

Because every colour uses the same recipe shape, you can craft a Red Sleeping Bag, a Lime Sleeping Bag, or any other colour with equal effort. If you later want a hammock instead, keep the cloth colour consistent and craft the matching Hammock Cloth plus Rope and Nail.
