Breaking a Colossal Chest Back into a Normal Chest

When to shrink a chest

A large Colossal Chest is awkward to move or you may want the space back. The Uncolossal Chest item converts a Colossal Chest structure back into an ordinary chest so you can relocate or store it normally.

Conversion steps

1. Craft an Uncolossal Chest.

2. Empty the Colossal Chest first. Remove items through an Interface or by opening the chest directly.

3. Use the Uncolossal Chest on the Colossal Chest block.

4. The structure collapses and you recover a standard chest plus the wall materials.

Reclaiming materials

Breaking the frame returns your Chest Wall blocks of the matching material, and breaking Interfaces returns the Interface blocks. Because every part shares one material, you get a clean stack of that material back. Keep the Colossal Chest block itself if you plan to rebuild at the same tier.

If you only want a smaller chest rather than a plain one, use the Chest Downgrade Tool instead of the Uncolossal Chest. Downgrading keeps the chest functional at a lower tier, while the Uncolossal Chest removes the colossal structure entirely. Choose based on whether you want to keep the chest working or pack it away.
