Switch Between Color Blindness Simulation Modes

Accessing the Shader Menu

Color Cone Shaders provides multiple simulation modes to test how your world appears to people with different types of color vision. To switch between modes, open your shader options through the graphics settings.

Changing Modes

1. Pause your game and navigate to Options → Video Settings → Shaders

2. Look for the Color Cone Shaders configuration panel

3. You'll see toggles or dropdown menus for different color vision types

4. Select the mode you want to test (such as Deuteranopia, Protanopia, or Tritanopia)

5. The shader will apply immediately to your world

Testing Your Build

Once you've switched to a simulation mode, walk around your build and observe how colors change. Pay attention to:

  • Whether text on signs remains readable
  • If colored wool or concrete blocks still look distinct from each other
  • Whether important visual markers (like redstone dust or glowing blocks) stand out

Switch between modes to test multiple color vision conditions. This helps ensure your map or build is accessible to players with color blindness.
