Using Paxels for Mining, Chopping and Digging

One Tool, Three Jobs

A paxel acts as axe, pickaxe and shovel at once. You do not need to switch items when the block in front of you changes.

• Mining: use any paxel on stone, cobblestone, ores and other pickaxe blocks.
• Chopping: use the same paxel on logs, planks and other axe blocks.
• Digging: use it on dirt, sand, gravel and other shovel blocks.

Practical Tips

Carry one paxel instead of three tools to free inventory space. Match the paxel tier to the job: a Wooden or Stone Paxel for early building, Iron or Golden for general work, Diamond for tough mining, and the Netherite Paxel for long sessions where durability matters.

Because the paxel covers multiple block types, it is ideal for caving, strip mining and clearing terrain. Keep a spare paxel or the materials to craft one so a broken tool does not stop your work.
